Haunted Trail Miami · Nightly through Nov 1
You go inone at a time
1,000+ acres of dark trail, a 60-minute ride, and no group to hide in. This year the trail belongs to the clowns.
$40 per ATV reserves your ride
The part people tell their friends about
One ATV.
One driver.
One dark trail.
Groups do not ride the Haunted Trail together. ATVs are released onto the trail one at a time, which means for most of those 60 minutes the only headlight you can see is your own.
What's out there
It starts as a glow ride. Then it doesn't.
I.
The glow run
You launch into the same neon-lit ride Takeovers is known for: 1,000+ acres of trail, lights on the machines, nothing wrong yet.
II.
The lights change
Deeper in, the trail is handed over to the scare crew — actors working the treeline and props staged along the route.
III.
This year: the clowns
Every season gets a theme. For this one it is clowns, and they are extremely comfortable running alongside a moving ATV.

Questions
Before you book
Do you really ride the Haunted Trail alone?
ATVs are released onto the trail one at a time. Book the single-rider ATV and that is you by yourself for the whole run. Book the two-rider ATV and you have exactly one other person — still no group around you.
Can you wear a costume on an ATV?
Costumes are welcome, with one limit: a DOT-approved helmet and goggles are part of the gear every rider wears, so anything covering your face or head has to come off before you ride. Skip anything that hangs loose enough to catch on the machine.
How late do the haunted rides run in Miami?
Three departures a night: 7 PM, 9 PM and 11 PM. The ride is 60 minutes, so the last group is off the trail around midnight.
Is the Haunted Trail too scary for kids?
It is a real scare experience with live actors, so use your judgement. The rules are the same as every other tour here: drivers must be 16 or older with a photo ID, and passengers must be at least 5 and ride with an adult. A nervous first-timer is usually happiest on the two-rider ATV.
Do I need ATV experience, and what is included?
No experience needed. Every ride starts with a safety briefing and the ATVs are automatic — no clutch, no shifting. Included: DOT-approved helmets, goggles, a guide, pre-ride training and free action photos. Arrive 45 minutes before your departure for check-in, waivers and training.
How much is the deposit?
$40 per ATV to reserve your ride. The balance is due when you check in at the park.
What happens if it rains?
Tours run rain or shine. A wet trail means more mud, and the scare crew does not mind the weather.
When is the last night?
November 1. The Haunted Trail runs nightly from September 25 through November 1, and the regular night glow tours carry on after that.
